Considerations for Youth and Summer Camps

Updated May 19, 2020 by the CDC

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/summer-camps.html

This link presents fully comprehensive information about day and overnight camps from the CDC, but attendance in these activities are not without risk [my opinion]. You must make your parental decisions as your child[ren]'s best advocates based upon assurances of compliance from your child's camp. Trust but verify. You may want to seek the advice of your family attorney as to where liability might fall should there be an adverse event for your child[ren] this summer. This is not an easy decision for you regarding your child[ren]'s summer activities. Your doctor can not make it for you other than reviewing potential health consequences that you are probably already aware of and concerned about.
